The rain barrels are doing quite well (we sold out of our first shipment of 8 barrels). People are concerned about the lack of precipitation that we have had this winter and spring and the very low level of moisture in the ground. They are looking for ways to reduce their water consumption while still having gardens and collecting the wonderful water that nature gives us for free and most people let it run away to the sewer lines. I like saving rainwater.Tomorrow I will be going to pick up our second shipment of 8 barrels.Tomorrow I will also be going to pick up our coolers and freezers in the west end.The inspector came to inspect (venting inspector) the roaster today and passed it BUT he advised that a gas inspector had to okay the gas line - ANOTHER F***ing delay. He kindly said he would get hold of the gas inspector and try and stop by tomorrow morning when they are in the area inspecting a restaurant. After all the other delays I can only hope that things fall into place and Eric can finally roast (of course the installer will have to return to do the final hook-up).The whole process has been somewhat frustrating - not only for me but the staff, Eric (the roastmaster) and of course the many lovers of Eric's coffee.

I apologize for this delay.
